Miles implements techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused couples therapy and Mindfulness. Miles uses a collaborative, client-centered approach in a comfortable, safe and nonjudgmental environment that is open and inclusive of clients of all backgrounds to help them learn coping strategies and access skills they already possess in effort to support their goal attainment.
In addition to working in outpatient therapy, Miles has also served as the Clinical Supervisor in several settings including with clients in hospital, jail, residential and Assertive Community Treatments programs. He is always looking for new tools to further enhance his ability to support his clients in their journey to wellness.
